School
IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL 1hr Ground School (out of 10hr) GLIDER OR AIRPLANE Part of 10hr ground school. Will cover all aeronautical knowledge areas required in Part 61 sign off for written. All 10, 1hr lessons must be completed for sign off. All 10hrs must be done with AFI to qualify. Student will be issued sign off for aeronautical knowledge and ground school hours (must be in person).

MUST BE IN PERSON (COVID-19 Measures) 1hr Knowledge Test Deficient Area Lesson- Covers all deficient areas found on Airmen Knowledge Test Report. Minimum of two lessons for sign-off. SIGN OFF: "On______________(date) I gave the above named applicant ______ hours of additional instruction, covering each subject area shown to be deficient, and consider the applicant competent to pass the knowledge test"
General
Aeronautics
IN PERSON or VIRTUAL (Zoom) 1hr General Aeronautical Lesson ANY RATING- 1hr of ground instruction on any questions that student may have about aircraft category/class. Student is responsible for preparing questions about topic before lesson. Does not count towards Aeronautical Knowledge sign off. If done in person, ground instruction will be logged in student's logbook, counting towards check ride requirements.
ABOUT
Established on July 28th, 2020, Aeronautical Familiarization Incorporated (or 'AFI') is an on-demand aviation ground school taught by federally certified instructors. AFI is focused on creating safer aviation operations and workplaces through "Integrity in Service".
